Rika began her career in banking in the late 1970s starting at the Cape of Good Hope Bank, specialising in banking and investments finance. She later joined Nedbank from 1997 until 2018 handling all aspects of banking. After Nedbank she moved into Financial Planning within Nedbank as a client liaison dealing with Wealth, Investments, Corporate Group Benefit Schemes, Business Assurance and other financial related spheres.
Rika moved with the practice to Fairbairn Consult in January 2024. Wealth Architects has brought about a focussed energy to investment solutions for our current client base as well as our future. Rika’s over 40 years of experience in customer relations is an asset to all our client base at

Neil Celliers began his investment career in Johannesburg in the early 1999’s starting with
The Liberty Group. He later started The Financial Consortium, growing a team of financial planners before migrating the practice to PSG in 2004. Relocating to Cape Town in early 2005 he started at Standard Bank Private Banking. Neil Celliers later joined Nedbank from 2011 until 2023 as a Senior Financial Planner within Business Banking and Non-Resident Embassy Banking.
2024 was the beginning of a partnership with Fairbairn Consult Pty Ltd to provide open investment architecture options with a direct focus on architecting investment strategies for clients with the advent of
Wealth Architects in 2025.

Loryn Garnham began her banking career in Johannesburg in the late 1970's, specializing in investments and vehicle finance. She later joined Perm Building Society in Stellenbosch, advancing to 2IC and handling all aspects of banking. After Perm merged with Nedbank, she moved into Home Loans, managing insurance, collateral, estate matters, and later, new business and mortgage origination.
Loryn returned in 2025 as a New Business Liaison at Wealth Architects, bringing her expertise in investments full circle to provide bespoke support to the clients. Loryn’s over 40 years of experience in deal making and new business focus is an asset to the new clientele of
Wealth Architects.
